Both Colin and I have had an affillation with this beautiful breed for many years.
My first encounter with the breed was in the early 90's when I rescued a Curly from the pound. He may not have been the most outstanding example of the breed, but he instantly became a loyal companion and friend who ignited my passion for curlies.
My husband Colin, has been involved in the breed for all of his life having had the fortune as a child, of growing up with Curlies in the Northern Rivers district of NSW.
The first Lindsayvale Curlycoated Retriever was whelped on the 9/5/99. From this litter came Lindsayvale Mr Casual (Jack) who became the first Liver Grand Champion of the Breed in Australia and Queenslands first Grand Champion.
Currently our involvement with the breed is showing, non-slip retrieving and of course breeding
We are a small kennel selectively breeding for temperament, type and movement.
Our aim is to breed beautiful Curlycoated Retrievers that can step from the field to the show ring and then onto the couch at home.
Colin and I were married in 2004 and Jack (Gr. Ch. Lindsayvle Mr Casual) was in attendance.
